Our Model Improves the Whole Child

Since 2014 we have been helping orphans and vulnerable children in the Bungoma region of Western Kenya. Seeing the terrible cycle of poverty, we felt called and established by God to care for the orphans, the abandoned, and the abused of this region. Our mission greatly improves the lives of these children and is turning the tide, not only for the children, but for their community.

We achieve this through:

EDUCATION - Education changes individuals, communities, future generations and is the single most important factor to break the cycle of poverty

NUTRITIOUS FOOD - Hot school breakfasts, lunches, food aid and community gardens help end the cycle of malnutrition

CLEAN WATER - Clean water and sanitation eradicate up to 80% of the illnesses that keep children out of school.

HEALTHCARE - Meeting basic healthcare needs is a key tenet to keeping children in school and building strong sustainable communities

HOUSING - Thank God for our Abbott mission house parents and numerous foster parents that love and care for their "bonus children" as their own.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT - We empower the individual by providing teaching material & workshops on Vocational training, Financial education and Household budgeting. We "teach to fish” so they can utilize their God-given skillsets for sustenance and for income-generation.

Kids Receive Books on First Day of School

The New School year started January 26, 2023 for Primary grades. The Rock Church provided the necessary funding to buy the curriculum for the new school year. Watch how happy the children are when they receive their books & supplies as it’s given to them by Director Wafula.
